Hallux Valgus

Hallux valgus is a common disorder that occurs when improperly fitting showe are worn. The shape of your feet is transformed and the big toe begins to turn inward.
When this condition worsens, the base of the big toe projects outward and becomes painful. Rubbing against the shoes can lead to inflammation and sometimes leads to a tumor. If left untreated, the pain worsens and the need for an operation increases.

The shape of the foot is transformed by pressure by the shoes. This pressure is the result of a deviation in the center of gravity. The waist is also forced to abosorb some of the weight and burden which may lead to further complications.

It is recommended to refrain from wearing shoes when the big toe has any pressure at all. Even though high-heeled shoes help show off slender legs and present an air of elegance, if they don't fit, they end up doing more harm than good.
There are times when the shoes stretch, easing the discomfort and giving the wearer the sense that they have grown accostomed to them. However, more damage is done by wearing "gotten-used-to" shoes because the pain isn't felt any longer.
